COVID-19

Customers are taking comfort in our heightened standards on aircraft cleaning, security, the flexibility of travel, and privacy, which are not guaranteed by any other type of transport during times of instability.

To safeguard passengers and crew and ensure continuity of service, we have taken additional steps along with partners to strengthen safety and security procedures further every day.

  • Our teams work 24/7 to assess and approve any booking and change requests from a technical, safety and security standpoint. To help reduce the spread of the virus, we are in constant exchange with our partners to help us provide clean and disinfected planes for our customers.

  • All crew gets tested three times a week, and if there is any doubt about their health, they will be taken out of service until cleared by a certified professional. Digital thermometers are stocked onboard every aircraft to allow the crew to register their temperature and immediately report to the Operations team above 37.5°C.

Handshake greetings have been halted, and the crew wears protective masks and gloves as required and permitted. They also oversee all aircraft cleaning procedures to ensure they meet or exceed published guidelines.

  • Standard cleaning procedures have been amplified within all aircraft cleaned with the long-term surface disinfectant after each flight. This product uses a semi-permanent nanolayer of silica to release anti-pathogen agents that act against infection over an extended period.

An approved agency has also implemented a complete sanitization cycle across all aircraft, with further cleaning and treatment as requested by the crew should a suspected exposure on board be reported.

  • Aircharters Worldwide has introduced new processes to monitor passenger health status. Those who have traveled to/from high-risk locations in the last 30 days will be required to complete additional travel documents and a self-declaration. This declaration will be presented to the port of arrival authority and will stand as legal verification of information from the passenger.

Additionally, before boarding, the crew may use a digital thermometer to take the temperature of any passenger traveling from an identified hot spot or should they be displaying symptoms of the virus.

  • Crew members will ensure that the stock of masks, gloves, sanitizers, and cleaning supplies are maintained onboard every aircraft.

Breath freely in a safe cabin – our fleet has a filtering system that captures up to 99.99% of bacteria particles and replaces cabin air in as little as 90 seconds.

Should a passenger start displaying symptoms inflight, the crew will contact our Headquarters immediately for further guidance. As a precautionary measure, should it be determined that a COVID-19 carrier traveled on an Aircharters Worldwide aircraft, that tail will be temporarily taken out of service, cleaned, and evaluated.

  • Aircharters worldwide is working closely with all partners across its supply chain to ensure safe management, delivery, and action every day.

Operations teams liaise daily with private jet terminals worldwide on bookings and inquiries to safeguard passengers and crew from arrival, through passport control where relevant, and onto the aircraft.

Private Dining specialists have stringent safety protocols with preferred catering and restaurant partners. This includes personal hygiene, control processes from storage and preparation to plating and delivery, and all necessary documentation.

  • We have been monitoring and adapting to the outbreak since the first cases were reported in late 2019. Several countries have imposed travel restrictions, and details continue to emerge. Teams work daily with experts and authorities to update standards as the situation evolves.

Fly safe

Aircharters worldwide prioritizes the safety, security, and wellbeing of customers and staff above all else and offers the highest global standard for business aviation operators.

  • Before selecting a private aviation company, ensure safety is their top priority. Ask about the company's safety rating, the aircraft's safety management system, as well as a background on pilot experience and total hours flown. These standards should be clearly stated and available for you.

  • To ensure that the company can get you an aircraft when you need it, ask about its network, fleet size, and guaranteed availability of planes outside specific booking deadlines to be covered for any emergency travel needs.

  • Our jets constantly circulate and refresh the air in flight, which is a combination of recycled air and outside air that is conditioned and pressurised for your comfort.

  • Our thorough jet sterilization procedures include disinfecting with hospital-grade cleaning solutions before every flight as well as every morning and evening. We provide every guest with hand sanitizer for personal use. A cleaning log is maintained to ensure all procedures are carefully followed. All printed materials onboard, including safety cards and menus, are also replaced or sanitised following each flight.

  • A thorough commitment to safety is more important now than ever. Aviation companies should provide upfront communication on specific sterilization methods if they're offering passenger screenings, what onboard medical services are offered, and details on emergency protocols.
